KidsFitt – Foundational Strength and Fitness Program for Children

KidsFitt is the Shinden Dojo’s training program designed for children aged 6–15, where strength, endurance, coordination, and body awareness are developed through playful activities. The sessions include varied, age-appropriate exercises, so children not only enjoy moving but also experience the joy of steady progress.

Training sessions are led by Viktória Fenyvesi, a fitness & wellness instructor student at the Sport and Creative Technical School, who is completing her dual professional practice at Shinden Dojo. The personalized training program for children was approved and is continuously supervised by Diána Katona-Takács, Shinden Dojo’s functional trainer, ensuring professional, safe, and age-appropriate workouts.

Who is it for?

  • Beginner and advanced young athletes who want to become stronger, faster, and more agile.
  • Karate and boxing members of the association as a complementary conditioning program to improve performance and speed up progress.
  • Children practicing other sports who need a solid foundation in strength, coordination, and movement quality.

Why is it beneficial for combat sports?

  • Strength and endurance: builds fundamental strength and lasting performance capacity for longer matches.
  • Explosiveness and speed: improves reaction time, direction changes, and attack–defense rhythm.
  • Core stability and posture: better balance and more efficient power transfer in punches and kicks.
  • Coordination and nervous system efficiency: more precise movement patterns and cleaner technique execution.
  • Injury prevention: strengthens tendons, ligaments, and muscles while improving mobility and load tolerance.
